My name is Lee and I am a native English speaker from London, United Kingdom. I am a qualified TEFL teacher and have been teaching English online since 2014.

My previous experience as a manager at a large London company saw me assessing people’s performance, carrying out training, and coaching staff. I have been a qualified performance assessor and coach since 2005. In addition to these roles, I also conducted job interviews to select suitable staff for various positions.

I have always enjoyed assessing, coaching, teaching, and interviewing as I enjoy interacting with people and helping them. For me, it was a natural progression to move into professional teaching and coaching. I now do this by teaching English online through ‘Like your English’.

Szia! Wollaston Erika vagyok, nyelvi coach és tapasztalt nyelvtanuló. 8 évet éltem Angliában és 14 éve az angol az otthonomban használt első nyelvem. Jól ismerem az angol szokásokat és magas szinten beszélem a nyelvet. Jelenleg a negyedik nyelvet, a spanyolt tanulom, amiben a bevált nyelvtanulási technikákkal, a nulláról indulva, már fél év után bátran és magabiztosan tudtam Dél-Amerikában a helyiekkel kommunikálni és ügyeket intézni. Közel két év tanulás után a felsőfok elérése a célom, amihez közel vagyok. Jól tudom, hogy milyen frusztráló lehet néha a nyelvtanulás, de az évek alatt rátaláltam több olyan nyelvtanulási módszerre, amivel könnyebbé és szórakoztatóvá tehető ez a folyamat. 

Ezzel a szemlélettel segítem kezdők, újrakezdők és az anyanyelvi tanárhoz még bátortalanok angol nyelvtanulását. Az óráimon a magyar nyelv használatát minimálisra csökkentjük, hogy angol nyelvi környezetben tudj fejlődni minél rövidebb idő alatt minél nagyobb eredménnyel.

Hi, I am Erika Wollaston, a language coach, and experienced language learner. I lived in England for 8 years and English has been my main language for 14 years now. I speak English at a very high level. I am currently learning my fourth language – Spanish. I understand about learning languages and the occasional frustration that might come, but I have also discovered some techniques that work. With this mindset and way of learning, I can guide you to achieve a better level of English and make your studying experience fun and fulfilling. 

I teach beginners and those who are still not ready to learn from a native English teacher. In my lessons, we minimise the use of the Hungarian language so that you can develop in an English-speaking environment in the shortest possible time with the greatest possible result.

FAQ

Lessons take place Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:30 & 20:30.

Lessons last for 60 minutes. Longer lessons can take place by arrangement.

We offer different lesson options and coaching sessions. Lesson/session cost is dependent on which option you choose. Contact Lee or Erika to discuss and find out the cost for your particular choice of lesson/session.

You can pay for lessons in advance via the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • PayPal
  • Transferwise
  • Revolut

Payment totals for lessons will be e-mailed to you via an electronic invoice in advance of lessons.

Booked lessons need to be cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. We will provide you with a written ‘Payment & cancellation policy’. This policy explains what you can expect from us and our services, and what is expected of you.

Our lessons take place online. Online lessons are convenient and have the benefit of neither of us having to travel and use up precious time. Online learning provides you with all the accessible learning material that you need in the comfort of your home.

We teach students from the ages of 14+. To take lessons with us, it is preferable if you have some knowledge of the English language. Our main goal is to help you improve your English and reach your goals and targets.

We will teach you ‘real English’. By this, we mean English that is correct, useful, and applicable for your situation and requirements. We will not teach you unnecessary English that is outdated.

As a native English speaker from London, Lee will provide you with useful information on different types of English that you can expect to hear and use every day.

Erika lived, worked, and experienced life in Britian for many years and is equally knowledgeable about Britain, British people, and the English language.

You can choose to learn with either of them in total confidence.

We promise to offer you the best learning experience possible. Each one of our lessons will be tailor-made for you. We will only teach you things that you need to know to help you improve. We will support you and encourage you along the way. We make our lessons fun and personal, as we feel that is the best way for you to learn.

We enjoy teaching and coaching people and want to help you succeed. We will do our best to motivate you and help you learn. We will also give you homework and learning material to study at home. In return, we expect commitment from you.
